We are excited to help you host your next event. Below are some frequently asked questions to get you started. We are happy to answer any further questions via phone, e-mail or by meeting at the venue in person.

  • By booking with TIWEV, am I actually supporting a nonprofit and giving back to the community?"
    Yes! With each rental all of the proceeds are applied to what it takes to keep our building in repair, updates and repairs on the boats we use for our nonprofit, overhead, and all it takes to continue to provide our services of taking the seriously health challenged out sailing once per month. You have an opportunity to give your event a deeper purpose by giving back to the community when you book with Treasure Island Waterfront Event Venue.
  • Which nonprofit am I supporting when I rent the Treasure Island Waterfront Event Venue?
    You are supporting Soothe Our Souls 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The warm hearted organization takes the seriously health challenged and thier caregivers out sailing once per month. You can find more information about SOS at: www.sootheoursouls.org
  • How do I book the venue for my next event?
    Please fill out the the "VENUE RENTAL REQUEST FORM" on the Booking page to start the process of booking and planning your event. You are also more than welcome to call us directly at: 727.954.3439
  • Do you have chairs and tables onsite?
    Treasure Island Waterfront Event Venue has a limited number of tables and chairs. For larger events we provide local contacts that can guide you in furniture and/or equiptment rental.
  • I know there is a dock onsite, but what about beach access? Can I throw an event on the beach?"
    Yes! We are one block away from the beach which allows us to throw events on the Gulf of Mexico.
  • Is there enough parking for my event?
    There is a parking lot onsite as well as street parking available. For larger events we recommend the valet parking option for your guests.
  • Will TIWEV plan my event for me?
    We do not plan events but we have recommended event planners for hire we can put you in touch with.
  • How do I create an event package?
    Choose the services available from our list of offerings and note any additional services you need in the questionaire provided under the Booking page. Once our venue coordinator recieves your request they will set up a phone meeting to review and discuss your event.
  • What is your cancelation policy?
    Cancelations must be made 2 weeks prior to the event for a full refund. The deposit is non-refundable.
  • How do I recieve pricing?
    Pricing for the event venue is charged by the hour based on seasonal demand. Treasure Island Waterfront Event Venue will give pricing after receiving the Venue Rental Request Form.
  • What type of kitchen is available?
    THe kitchen is set up for full service including a large fridge, stove, oven, and microwave.
